Lipoeasy® Ready-to-use Transfection Reagent
Next-generation reagent for in vitro & in vivo transfection · no LNP formulation or microfluidics · one-step nucleic acid encapsulation
Lipoeasy® is a proprietary lipid-based delivery reagent. It adapts to different LNP formulations and efficiently transfects nucleic acid cargo — mRNA, siRNA, plasmid DNA — with high encapsulation efficiency and full customisability, positioning it as a highly customisable drug delivery solution.
Compared with conventional reagents that only work in vitro and load by surface coupling, Lipoeasy® uses self-assembled LNP encapsulation, covers both in vitro and in vivo, and extends into LNP commercial formulation optimisation — an alternative that breaks the import monopoly in transfection validation.
- Low cytotoxicityHEK293 and DC2.4 maintain near-100% viability across the full 0.1–5 μg/mL pDNA range.
- Ready-to-use liquid formulationEncapsulation completed within 24 hours — no LNP formulation workflow, no microfluidics equipment.
- In vitro and in vivo in one reagentThe same reagent supports cell-based transfection studies and in vivo animal delivery (IV, IM and more).
- Cost-effective for preclinical workPreclinical delivery exploration at a lower reagent and equipment threshold, with custom bulk available.

Measured performance
Statements follow the supplier's original charts; no numerical extrapolation.
Across HeLa, HEK293, Hep2, NCI-H460 and COLO cells, Lipoeasy® and Lipoeasy®-Pro consistently outperformed Lipo-fectamine 3000 — broad applicability across cell types.
After intramuscular administration, Luc-mRNA delivered by Lipoeasy® shows a protein expression profile comparable to LNP delivery, with no statistically significant difference in luciferase expression at the injection site.
On HEK293 and DC2.4 cells, viability stays at nearly 100% across the 0.1–5 μg/mL pDNA range — indicating a very low cytotoxic response.
Comparison with mainstream reagents
Reproduced from the manufacturer's documentation: among mainstream imported products, Lipo-fectamine 3000 is in-vitro only with no nucleic acid encapsulation, while the in vivo products generally do not support in vitro validation; Lipoeasy® is the option covering in vitro and in vivo transfection, encapsulated loading, formulation optimisation and a link to LNP commercialisation.
